On Sunday August 25th, 14 students of Wakeman Congregational Church gathered together with their backpacks to be prayed over by Pastor Janet and our congregation. Each student was given a tag to hang on their backpack reminding them that they have a whole church praying for them this entire year. We are praising them for their successes and giving them strength in times of need. As they enter school this week they can feel confident knowing they have the support of not only their family but their church family with them.
