As you are reading this edition of The Messenger, the Lenten season will have already begun. This year, Lent, a special period of reflection, fasting and prayer, began on Ash Wednesday, February22nd and ends on Good Friday, April 7th.

Christians around the world still take the 40 days preceding Easter to fast and prepare for the celebration of Jesus' resurrection on Easter Sunday.

During this Lenten season, devotionals will be mailed to all the children and devotionals for the adults, entitled Amazing Grace, will be available at the back of the sanctuary.

We will gather at the cross on the northeast corner of the church property on Sunday morning, April 9, at 7:00 am for Sunrise Service. Communion will be shared at the Sunrise Service.

Breakfast will then be served in the basement of the church followed by Easter service at 10:00 am in the church sanctuary.

We welcome each of you to join us not just during this Lenten season but every Sunday to worship and praise our Lord and Savior.
