Hello all,

It was so wonderful to worship together again!! The weather was perfect for our first service back. We will continue to worship weekly at the pavilion. I wanted to share a sweet comment from one of our younger attendees. A sweet little 8 year old had a baby shower to go to yesterday but she chose not to go. She wanted to go to the shower but she really didn't want to miss church, so she stayed back and came to church with her dad! As adults, I know many of us were ready to be able to gather together again to worship. How encouraging it is to see how important gathering together to worship is to the children of the church too!

Since we are not handing out bulletins at this time, we will communicate prayer requests and announcements through email and the messenger. If you have a prayer request or an announcement, please email me or talk to me Sunday morning before or after service.

Prayer Requests/Praises:

Debi McCullough's daughter Vanessa (diagnosed with breast cancer) recently was able to get a lump removed from one breast.  Once the hospitals are able to safely accommodate another surgery for her, she will get another lump removed. At this time she is in remission!! Praise God.  If the surgery goes well in the other breast she may not have to have a mastectomy.  Please continue to lift Vanessa in prayer!

Debi's son Josh still continues to struggle with severe headaches, however they have lessened in frequency.  He is under the care of a neurologist who he feels confident will be able to help him. Please continue to pray for Josh as well.  Debi is so thankful for your prayers!

Announcements:

  •   We will continue to worship in the pavilion for the upcoming weeks.
  •   VBS has been cancelled for this summer.  We are very sad to announce this but feel it is the right decision for the safety of all of the children who attend.
  •   The Chicken BBQ has been cancelled as well.  However, the fire department will be hosting a Chicken BBQ in late June to support Holly Hipp.
  •   We are still collecting clothing for the Free Clothing Giveaway as well as school supplies.

Baby Bottles for Abigail Pregnancy Services are being collected now through Father's Day.  You may drop the bottles off at the church or bring them to worship service Sunday mornings.
