Welcome to Wakeman Church! We hope this information will help you know what to anticipate. We gather for worship every Sunday at 10:00 AM.
What is the preaching like?
Preaching is the main element of the service. We teach from the Bible, the Word of God, and offer applications for your everyday life. We hold to the tenant that the Bible is not merely a historical document but is both relevant and applicable for us today. We preach the Bible and the Bible alone, mostly in an expositional style.
What is the music like?
We currently have a “blended” service. We appreciate both the old hymns and the new music, as long as it is God-glorifying, and not man-centered. Music Page
What should I wear?
You’ll be just fine in jeans and a t-shirt, or business casual attire, or a dress or shirt-and-tie… whatever makes you feel comfortable. We welcome you just as you are.
